2003 Racing Fun Wayne won the "Best Looking Car" during Open House at East Lincoln Motor Speedway on 3/15/03. A trophy was awarded Saturday 3/30/03, but Team Dellinger felt that Jennifer earned it and the trophy was given to her. Thanks to Speedway Jen at Rice Graphics! Saturday March 30th For those of you that didn't have the chance to come to East Lincoln Motor Speedway, you missed a great late model race. Wayne qualified at 16.34 with Donald Wilkes qualifying 2nd at 16.60. Wayne led all laps and won! After winning the best looking car award, the car no longer looks like it should get an award. The cars came out of the 4th turn 3 wide and Wayne took the brunt with the most damage. Luckily, it only damaged sheet metal. Saturday April 5th Another Checkered Flag at East Lincoln Motor Speedway! Wayne qualified at 16.05 (track record) with Cliff Houser qualifying 2nd at 16.41. Wayne led all laps and won again! With the track very muddy after the rain from Saturday morning the car was running great. Wayne was able to pull away from all cars by about a straight away. He lapped several cars before a caution brought them all back together. Saturday April 12th Wayne qualified at 16.39 with Billy Thompson qualifying 2nd at 16.72. Billy was able to get the jump on Wayne on the first lap. Wayne spun in the 2nd turn and had to come from the rear of 17 cars to finish 6th. Saturday May 10th Wayne qualified at 16.56 putting him starting in 5th position. David Sigmon qualified at 16.42 for the pole. Wayne did not finish the race due to a wreck. Sunday June 1st Qualifying times are from Saturday May 25th, due to all the rain. Timmy Sigmon qualifed at 16.79 for the pole and Wayne qualified at 17.08 for 4th position. The track was in bad shape during qualifying due to the wet conditions from the rain and only 2 cars qualifed in the 16's. By Sunday June 1st, the track had dried out and was very dusty. Rob McLaughlin won with Wayne finishing 2nd. Saturday June 14th Rob McLaughlin qualified at 16.61 and Wayne qualified at 16.84 after coasting from the 3rd turn due to rear end problems. Wayne started in the rear in Tim Sigmon's #00 and finished 6th after dodging many wrecks. Tim could not race due to illness.
